LineTemp Refrigeration & Draft Systems LLC ("LineTemp," "we," "us") operates the LineTemp field service platform at os.linetemp.com and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

3. How We Use Your Information

• Service delivery: Scheduling, dispatch, job management, completion verification, and invoicing.
• Payment processing: Invoice generation, payment collection, contractor payouts via Stripe Connect.
• Communication: Service notifications, appointment reminders, completion confirmations, payment receipts.
• Compliance: Health department documentation, chemical logs, service records, tax reporting (1099-NEC).
• Platform improvement: Anonymized diagnostic data to improve AI accuracy. Error monitoring to fix bugs.
• Safety: GPS verification, completion photos, and service records for dispute resolution.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as follows:

• Service contractors: Customer name, service address, site contact, and job details necessary to perform services.
• Payment processor: Stripe, Inc. processes all payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Email service: Resend delivers transactional emails (invoices, notifications, confirmations).
• AI processing: Anthropic processes diagnostic data via API. No personal data is included in diagnostic prompts. See Section 6.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect safety or rights.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (US East region) with row-level security policies. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers.

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, authenticated API endpoints for all platform operations, and server-side PII scrubbing on error logs.

No system is 100% secure. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours.

6. AI and Diagnostic Data

When you use LineTemp diagnostic tools, equipment photos, audio recordings, and sensor data are sent to AI systems for analysis. This data:

• Is used to generate the diagnostic output for that specific session.
• May be stored in anonymized form to improve diagnostic accuracy.
• Does not include your name, contact information, or account details in AI prompts.
• Is not used by third-party AI providers to train their general models (Anthropic's API terms prohibit training on API data).

Diagnostic outputs are stored as service records and are subject to the same retention policies as other service data.

7. Data Retention

• Service records: Minimum 3 years (health department compliance).
• Financial records: 7 years (tax and accounting requirements).
• Diagnostic data: Retained for platform improvement. Anonymized after 2 years.
• Account data: Retained while account is active. Deleted within 30 days of verified deletion request, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Error logs: 90 days, PII scrubbed at capture.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Portability: Request your service records in a standard format.
• Opt-out: Opt out of non-essential communications by contacting us.

9. Cookies and Tracking

The LineTemp platform uses essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that track individual users across sites.

Google Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN, which may log access. No other third-party tracking is present on the platform.

10. Children

The Platform is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
