By accessing or using any LineTemp platform, website, or service (collectively, the "Platform"), including os.linetemp.com, linetemp.com, and toolkit.linetemp.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including customers of LineTemp services, independent contractors performing services through the Platform, and visitors to LineTemp websites.
LineTemp reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective thirty (30) days after notice is posted on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
The LineTemp Platform is a field service management system that facilitates the scheduling, dispatch, completion, and payment of commercial refrigeration and draft beer services. The Platform connects customers requiring services with qualified independent contractors.

LineTemp reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent activity.
Service requests submitted through the Platform are offers to purchase services at LineTemp's standard rates. LineTemp reserves the right to accept or decline any service request. Acceptance occurs when LineTemp confirms the request through the Platform or by direct communication.
LineTemp uses an automated dispatch system to assign jobs to available contractors. Assignment is not guaranteed for any specific contractor. LineTemp does not guarantee response times or availability for emergency services.
Geographic dispatch: Service availability depends on contractor coverage in your area. LineTemp will notify you promptly if services are unavailable in your area and will endeavor to provide referrals to alternative service providers.
All services are billed at the rates agreed in the applicable Customer Service Agreement or as quoted through the Platform. By using the Platform, you authorize LineTemp to charge your payment method on file for all services rendered.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. LineTemp does not store raw payment card data.
Disputed charges must be reported to LineTemp within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. LineTemp will review disputes in good faith and provide service completion documentation to support resolution. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting LineTemp may result in account suspension.
Independent contractors who perform services through the Platform are not employees of LineTemp. LineTemp is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent contractors beyond LineTemp's express obligations under the applicable contractor agreement.
LineTemp screens contractors for required certifications and insurance but does not guarantee the performance of any individual contractor. Customer concerns about contractor performance should be reported to LineTemp immediately through the Platform or by calling (815) 236-6727.
LineTemp maintains digital service records including GPS verification, completion photographs, chemical logs, and electronic signatures. These records are:
Customer's electronic confirmation of service or failure to dispute service within seven (7) days of completion notification constitutes acceptance of the service as performed.
8.1 Nature of Diagnostic Outputs. Diagnostic outputs generated by the LineTemp platform are decision support tools only. They are not professional engineering opinions, licensed contractor recommendations, or warranties regarding equipment condition, fitness for purpose, or safety. Diagnostic outputs are generated by automated artificial intelligence systems that may produce incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate results.
8.2 User Responsibility. All diagnostic outputs must be independently reviewed and validated by a qualified technician or licensed professional before any repair, replacement, or maintenance action is taken. Users assume full responsibility for any actions taken based on diagnostic outputs. LineTemp strongly recommends consulting a licensed HVAC technician or mechanical engineer for all safety-critical equipment decisions.
8.4 Diagnostic Data. Equipment data submitted for diagnosis is used to generate diagnostic outputs and to improve LineTemp's AI systems. Anonymized diagnostic data may be used for platform training and improvement. LineTemp will not use identifiable customer data for purposes other than service delivery without customer consent.
The LineTemp Platform, including all software, algorithms, diagnostic methodologies, Two-Minds diagnostic architecture, acoustic analysis systems, spectral fingerprinting methods, training data, and all other technology, are the exclusive proprietary property of LineTemp Refrigeration & Draft Systems LLC, protected by patent (USPTO Application 64/007,622), copyright, and trade secret law.
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform solely for its intended purposes. Users may not:
LineTemp collects and processes personal information including names, email addresses, phone numbers, business addresses, GPS location data, and service records in connection with providing services. This data is used to deliver and improve LineTemp services.
LineTemp does not sell personal data to third parties. LineTemp may share data with service contractors to the extent necessary to perform services, and with payment processors for billing purposes.
Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting LineTemp at service@linetemp.com. Data deletion requests will be processed within thirty (30) days subject to LineTemp's legal obligations to retain certain records.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LineTemp and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit through the Platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall first be submitted to non-binding mediation in Lake County, Illinois. If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lake County, Illinois. You consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
